How This Is Calculated
Under the standard plus/minus grading system, the A grade band is subdivided into A- (90.0–92.9%, 3.7 GPA), solid A (93.0–96.9%, 4.0 GPA), and A+ (97.0–100%, 4.0 or 4.3 GPA).
In high schools or universities that do not utilize plus/minus grading, any score from 90.0% to 100.0% is recorded simply as an A (4.0 GPA).
